August 17, 2010 - Update on Availability for 2011

My schedule for the second half of 2011 has finally been clarified adequately, and so I am now able to book weddings from June through August of 2011. April and May are 100% unavailable for certain, and late January through March are still TBD.

July 23, 2010 - Addressing Availability Questions and Concerns for 2011

I have noticed that some people have been concerned regarding my lack of availability past January 2011, and I suspect some of the thoughts may be related to my providing their photos as promised or disappearing without finishing (or even starting) my job. In order to alleviate any disconcert and answer these questions, I would like to clarify the situation.

First, I am not leaving the state or city in 2011. I plan on being in Las Vegas for a long time yet. Next, I am not leaving photography! I enjoy it too much.

With that said, I have not been booking anything past January 2011 because of potential scheduling conflicts that I must avoid in order to guarantee my availability. I am simply not willing to flake on a wedding or claim that I will be available when I will not be.

As for current schedules, I am still available from August 2010 through early January 2011. I am also looking into my schedule for next year and may soon start booking from July 2011 through the rest of the year - but, again, I have to be sure I will be available. Depending on what I find out later this year, I may book very limited jobs between January and June 2011; however, this is also currently undecided, and I will not book anything until I am certain I can keep my promises. In the meantime, any and all weddings that I book are guaranteed to receive their photos in the same timely manner as I have provided them for my other brides and grooms before them.

To all those I have worked with in the past several years, thank you for your patience and the opportunity to be your photographer!
